Fahnestock House

Fahnestock House is a historic Civil War-era building just one block from Gettysburg's square. It was first opened as affordable apartments in March 1986, and was completely renovated in August 2013. It is designated for  Elderly (55+) and Disabled residents with 26 apartments units on four floors with elevator access. Their are on-site laundry rooms plus a community room with kitchen and fireplace. There are five handicapped-accessible units including one hearing/vision unit. Tenants pay 30% of their income towards rent, USDA-Rural Development provides subsidy.

McSherrystown Interfaith Village

80 Main Street, McSherrystown, PA 17344

This property opened in 1989 and has 47 apartments designated for Elderly (62+) or Disabled needing the specific features of a mobility-impaired unit. Five units have features for mobility-impaired residents. The building is a mix of efficiency and one-bedroom apartments on three floors with elevator. There is off-street parking plus on-site laundry facilities. There is a large community room with weekly scheduled activities. Tenants pay 30% of their income towards rent, HUD provides subsidy.

 

Misty Ridge Terrace 3

Sunnie Way, Gettysburg, PA 17325

This building opened in July 2017 and has six units designated fro disabled residents. There are six one-bedroom units. Three units have features for the mobility-impaired and three are located on the second floor. The building is part of our Misty Ridge campus and has off-street parking, on-site laundry facilities and a shared community room wth scheduled activities. The monthly rent is $578. Minimum household income of $15,413 or Housing Choice Voucher required. 

 

Gettysburg Interfaith Gardens

136 N. Stratton Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325

Gettysburg Interfaith opened in 1981 and received new heating/cooling systems along with other upgrades in 2013. It is designated for Elderly (62+) or Disabled residents needing specific features of mobility-impaired units. There are 36 one-bedroom units on three floors with elevator. Four of the units have features for the mobility-impaired. There is off-street parking, on-site laundry, a common area and scheduled monthly activities.  

Tenants pay 30% of their income towards rent, HUD provides subsidy. It is located in historic downtown Gettysburg. 

Harold Court

142 N. Stratton Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325

Harold Court opened in 1990 in historic downton Gettysburg. It is designated for Elderly (62+) or Disabled residents. There are 36 one-bedroom apartments on three floors with elevator. Two of the units have features for the mobility-impaired. There are on-site laundry rooms and a large community room which is used by the local Senior Center and Meals on Wheels. There is off-street parking. Tenants pay 30% of their income towards rent, USDA provides subsidy.

 

Old Friends at New Oxford

500 N. Bolton Street, New Oxford, PA 17350

Old Friends opened in 2004 and has 50 one-bedroom apartments designated for Elderly (62+) residents. The apartments are on three floors with elevator access. All apartments have either a patio or a balcony. Three units have features for the mobility-impaired and one has featured for the hearing/vision impaired. Rents range from $452 to $578 depending on income tier. Minimum household income required is $12,053 or Housing Choice Voucher required.
