We envision a future where everyone has affordable, safe, and stable housing by promoting economic independence and working collaboratively with our residents and community partners.
On the 16th day of August, 1966, it was decided by the Board of Commissioners of Adams County, Pennsylvania that there was a need for a Housing Authority. This housing authority would function within the territorial lines of the county, and would provide housing to low-income families. On September 27, 1966, the Adams County Housing Authority was established. Since the inception of ACHA, we have consistently worked to accomplish the goals laid out in our mission statement.
